The 2024 Les Hauts de Smith Blanc, 100% Sauvignon Blanc, is terrific. Aromatic and deep, with notable balance, the 2024 screams with character. Lemon confit, almond, white pepper, slate and mint lend notable brightness throughout. Pretty tropical overtones and a kiss of French oak linger.

So juicy and well measured, balanced, grippy, soft apple blossom with a shot of citrus and steel, Love it when Les Hauts de Smith is easy, joyful, made to share, just a great vintage of this wine. 30% new oak, delivers exactly what you want and it is one to look out for.
The 2024 Les Hauts de Smith Blanc, a pure Sauvignon Blanc, was picked from August 29 until September 13, before the rains. The bouquet is a little backward and needs some coaxing, with green apple and light yuzu scents. The palate has a dab of stem ginger on the entry, quite tensile with a bright and spicy finish. This will be difficult to resist in its youth.
Grapefruits, dried peaches, and white flowers fill the aromatics. On the palate the wine is fruity, forward, and fresh, with a crisp, very vibrant, energetic display of yellow citrus and chalk in the finish. This gem is ready for dinner tonight. The wine is produced from 100% Sauvignon Blanc.
