The 2024 Lafaurie is bright, floral and nicely lifted. Crushed flowers, chalk, mint and white pepper lend notable aromatic brilliance to a core of red-toned fruit. The 2024 feels just a bit light on the mid-palate, but it’s a solid wine for the year.

The 2024 Lafaurie-Peyraguey has a well-defined bouquet with pure honey, peach skin and marmalade scents that blossom in the glass. Very fine delineation. The palate is taut and fresh, revealing notes of peach, pear, quince and mango laced with crushed stone. It eases off the accelerator on the stem ginger-tinged finish to furnish this Sauternes with a taut and tensile aftertaste. Classy and sophisticated.

Honeyed apricots, Indian spices, pineapples, and orange cream nuances pop in the the perfume. The palate is bright, and fruity, with vibrant yellow, tropical fruits, lemon rind, mango, and candied tangerines with a racy edge. The wine is produced from 100% Semillon.
