The 2024 Doisy-Daëne L'Extravagant is elegant and light on its feet. Scents of passion fruit, tangerine peel, slate and mint lend notable aromatic presence. In 2024, L'Extravagant is beautifully refined and polished, a Barsac more of finesse than power. Apricot, candied ginger and a kiss of new French oak give this an exotic flair. The 2024 is, quite simply, captivating. Even with its considerable depth, L'Extravagant possesses terrific brightness and verve to match.

Buttery pineapples, spice, Creme Brulé, lemon meringue, and honey aromas pop in the perfume. The palate is even better. Rich, and intense, with layers of lemon curd, salty oranges, mangos, and caramel. The wine is fresh, sharp, and rich, with ample lift, and energy to balance everything out. This is the most intense, powerful sweet wine of the vintage.
