Tasting notes
FINE+RARE, Apr 2025

The Cabernet Franc is dominant on the nose of the 2024 Ch. Beauséjour, with floral aromas of peony and violet, hints of graphite and a lovely touch of white pepper. It offers a subtle mouth-feel, with delicate acidity framing ripe, velvety tannins. The mid-palate is full, offering serious concentration in the vintage. Finishing with a mouth-watering, chalky, saline signature – a familiar signature for this estate, this is another superb achievement from Joséphine Duffau-Lagarrosse. Aged in slightly less new oak than normal (40%), she also intends to bottle the wine a little earlier (expected élevage 12-14 months). 3.36pH and 13% alcohol. Blend: 72% Merlot, 28% Cabernet Franc.
