Tasting Notes
This is a bold and age-worthy Belle-Brise. The nose is ripe, layered with dried fruit, prune and hints of dark chocolate. The wine is big and dense, with ripe tannins, and will benefit from more time in bottle. This is built to go the distance.
A blend of 80% Merlot with 20% Cabernet Franc. Deeply coloured with waves of blackcurrant and Morello cherry on the nose. Incredibly silky on the palate with incredible concentration of fruit, breathtaking purity and opulence yet such finesse. Immaculate and perfectly ripe tannins provide a cashmere thread binding the wine together, complemented by sensational freshness and seamless integration.

If Musigny were made in Pomerol, this would be it.
About the producer

Tucked away in Pomerol’s southwest corner Ch. Belle-Brise is the ultimate insider’s Bordeaux. With just two hectares of walled garden vineyard, production at this estate is minuscule, making it one of the rarest wines in the marketplace (and arguably more exclusive than either Pétrus or Le Pin).
